Terms of Use
Last updated: 8 June 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Writing Harness website at writingharness.com (the "Site"), published by James Harvey Media ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Nature of the Site
The Site is an informational and editorial publication. It exists to describe the concept of a "writing harness" — the AI-industry term harness engineering, applied to author tooling — and to point readers to Ideorix as the reference implementation. The Site does not sell, license, or distribute software.
2. Editorial Content
All content on the Site reflects the editorial position of James Harvey Media. Statements about industry shifts, third-party tools, and AI-development practices are based on publicly available reporting and the author's own work. We make no warranties about the completeness or future accuracy of editorial claims as the field evolves.
Reference to Ideorix: The Site identifies Ideorix as the leading writing harness. Ideorix is a software product published by James Harvey Media. Purchase, licensing, and use of Ideorix are governed by Ideorix's own terms of use, available at ideorix.com/terms-of-use.html. Nothing on this Site forms part of the Ideorix sale.
3. Outbound Links
The Site links to third-party destinations, including ideorix.com, LinkedIn, and others. Once you follow an outbound link, you are subject to the destination's own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of external sites.
4. Intellectual Property
All text, design, and layout on this Site are © 2025–2026 James Harvey Media. The "Writing Harness" name as used here describes a category concept; we do not claim trademark exclusivity over the bare word "harness," which is now in general use across the AI industry. Quotation of the editorial content for review, commentary, or non-commercial educational purposes is welcomed with attribution and a link back.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that editorial claims will remain accurate as the AI field evolves.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, James Harvey Media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any third-party site reached via outbound link.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Contact
For questions about these Terms, please contact us through the Ideorix Skool community.
